Cape Town’s German ADAC Formula 4 charger Jonathan Aberdein heads to the Sachsenring for the penultimate round of the series with one thing in his mind ahead of the 16-17 September weekend.
Dominant 2017 Formula 4 UAE champion Aberdein may have scored several podiums in the seres and stood on the second step enough to have jitters about being the bridesmaid in the German series, but he intends rectifying that this weekend. “I’m winning at least 4 of the last 6 races!” Jonathan grinned.
“No, on a serious note, we are really looking forward to the last two race weekends and I want to finish this year off with some strong results, so a win or two would be really good and if I was able to do that and win four of them it would be a brilliant bonus. “It’s not so simple to do that though — we are racing in a truly competitive environment – I can’t wait to get going!”
