HUSQVARNA MARCHES ON THE CAPE

Q4 Fuel Husqvarna Racing heads to Cape Town’s Zone 7 for the fifth round of the 2018 TRP Distributors SA National Motocross Championship Saturday 11 August looking to consolidate on its advantage in the series. Q4 Fuel Husqvarna’s local hero Caleb Tennant leads both the 450cc MX1 and 250cc MX2 championships, with Pietermaritzburg lad Maddy Malan fourth in both chases, while another Capetonian Neil van der Vyver sits a fighting fifth in the 65cc class.

“We had a good weekend at Terra Topia last time out, but this weekend is my home race and I’m not taking any prisoners,” Caleb Tennant warned. “This race was initially cancelled because of the recent drought in the Western Cape, but it was later reinstated after some good rains and I am delighted to be able to race in front of my home crowd — I really can’t wait for this one — see you at Terra Topia!”
“It was great to share the MX2 honours with my Q4 Fuel Husqvarna teammate last time out and the plan is to do more of the same in both classes this weekend,”  Maddy Malan admitted. “I sit fourth in both championships, but it’s very close for second in MX2, so we have it all to do — I have the best team behind me, so let’s make it happen!”
“I can’t wait for Terra Topia,” young Capetonian of Q4 Fuel Husqvarna 65cc class star Neil van der Vyver confirmed. “It’s my home track and we thought we would not be racing here after the race was cancelled, but Cape Town is back on the calendar and I intend to celebrate that with the best possible results — see you at Zone 7 on Saturday!”
“Q4 Fuel Husqvarna Racing heads to two of our riders’ home track at Zone 7 in Cape Town this weekend, so the lads are pretty excited about this one,” Husqvarna Motorcycles South Africa Brand Manager, Fred Fensham concluded. “I can’t wait to watch Caleb on home ground, while Maddy is really motivated too and Neil can’t wait to impress his home crowd in the 65cc class too — roll on 11 August!”
