A flawless drive saw the Kenyan take his second ARC win after victory in Uganda in June.
Manvir topped the event with six stage wins out of eight.
“We are glad to have won in Tanzania even after having issues on Saturday. The competition was indeed tight but we just kept our focus high to the win,” said Baryan.
The Multiple Racing Team crew now leads the ARC standings with 65 points; 12points ahead Zambia’s Leroy Gomes.
Tanzania’s Ahmed Huwel and Maisam Fazal had a sublime performance scooping second position overall as well as winning the national category.
The Ford Fiesta Proto driver was 6 Minutes, 17seconds behind rally winner Baryan.
“An exciting event have had in a very longtime. The car responded very well and I managed to know how far I can go
“The whole team is excited about this performance because they have gone through a lot to prepare us. We are really happy for this,” said Huwel.
The final podium position was sealed by Harinder Deere and Moses Matovu in a Subaru Impreza while Gerard Miller settled for fourth.
Uganda’s Christakis Fitidis and Eric Nzamwita from Rwanda finished fifth overall and second in the ARC category.
Adam Rauf was sixth followed by Leroy Gomes and Dilraj Chatthe in seventh and eighth respectively.
Rally Tanzania registered 12 causalities of the 25 crews that started the event.
Former ARC champion Jaspreet Chatthe has slim chances of reclaiming the African crown after a second DNF.
Muna Singh, Randeep Singh, Yasin Nasser were among the causalities of the two day event.
