The first edition of the Sahari International Challenge will be held in Algeria from 1st to 9th of November. Algerian Motor Sport federation is the organizer of the event. The Sahari International Challenge 2015 is held under the patronage of the President of the Rebuplic of Algeria.
The point of the Sahari International Challenge 2015 is to discover all the places in the Sahara desert. Places that played a major role in the history of the African rally raids. More than 2000 kilometers of roadbooks divided into 6 stages. Starting from Algiers (the capital) through some of the most legendary places such as El-Menea, Timimoune, Laghouat…
On the penultimate day of the event an interesting sightseeing trip will be organized before the closing ceremony.
Carta Rallye was relatively uknown just like the Sahari Internation Challenge now. And look at it now, it is one of the most important low-mid budget races in this part of the world.

- 2 racing classes for everyone to have fun – rally raid and regular. Both for bikes and 4 wheelers
- Algérie Ferries, sponsor of the event, will facilitate transport to and from Algeria offering tickets at competitive rates
- Procedures for issuing the entry visa will be extremely facilitated with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
