FRANKIE GOES TO …

THE PRETORIUS SAGA DRAWS TO AND END

Francois aka “Frankie” Pretorius also “affectionately” known as “MSA 1” – a name that he took for himself when he bought the customised number plate for his bakkie, was this morning ordered to pay back more than R1.7m to eight complainants by the Alexandra Court.

This was the result of dear Frankie taking Porsche owners for a ride (not just around the block) about five years ago, which was shortly before being appointed main man of motorsport in South Africa.

Shortly after his appointment when this can of (porsche) worms crept out, the by then established alleged serial fraudster, denied any wrongdoing and also that there was any investigation around him. He was as clean as a conductors whistle.

After spinning a load of shit to the press he managed to do his John Wayne walk all over the country as well as on various overseas trips flashing a credit card wherever he went.

He caused havoc all over in motorsport and it is alleged that he promised careers to a few youngsters – especially young ladies, at every opportunity.

I have to admit that every time I close my eyes I still see this man representing everything I despise in life saying to a marshal, “Do you know who I am? I am the CEO of MSA!” rolling his eyes as he walks away! As if that is not nightmarish enough, I still wake up sweating when I dream about the day MSA broke the news that they “took pleasure in announcing the appointment of Mr (nogal) Francois Pretorius as CEO!”

Back in Alex Court this morning his attorney apparently transferred funds into the accounts of all or some, I am not sure, of the complainants.

He will be sentenced on the 30th of July 2014 and we will be there to make sure we do not miss a thing.

One good thing for Frankie is that he will not need a haircut if the judge decides to rid society of this man for a while.

So lets wait and see what happens but if the man managed to pay over the sums mentioned, he will probably appeal the verdict and the saga will continue for a while longer.
