Henk Lategan and Barry White in their Skoda Fabia S2000 may be out of the Rally Monte Carlo after the car left the road on stage 10 and got stuck in a ditch.
They have been unable to get the car out of the ditch and will not compete any further today.
At the time Lategan was 6th overall in WRC2.
At the start of the day he was quoted as saying that they were not pushing. They were there to learn and gain experience.
It is not known at this stage if they will finish the rally tomorrow running under Rally2 rules.
It was the team’s first WRC event and their first encounter with the iconic Rally Monte Carlo. To have gotten as far as they did in very difficult conditions is already an achievement.
