South Africa’s Giniel de Villiers in a Toyota Hi-Lux, has provisionally won the fifth and last stage of the Oilibta Rally of Morocco.
It makes no difference in his provisional overall standing. He finished the rally in fourth. The overnight leader, Nasser Al-Attiyah wins the event in a X-Raid Mini, but Vladimir Vasilev, also in a Toyota Hi-Lux, will move into second overall provisionally followed by Yazeed Al-Rajhi, also in a Toyota Hi-Lux.
Mikko Hirvonen, in a X-Raid Mini on his first cross country event after retiring from the WRC, will finish fifth, with Leeroy Poulter in another Toyota Hi-Lux 6th overall.
