After the night stage it was time for a start. It was just a single selective section of 80 kms before heading back to the camp. Why a short stage you might ask? Well, it was time to change the scenery, the terrain, and the camp.
The day’s stage was for someone a nightmare as it would be represented as an extended night stage due to having mechanical issues and late finish in the night, but nevertheless it would not be the Breslau if it was easy.

Even today, Drawsko’s polygon did not disappoint the Cross Country category. The drivers delighted themselves along the fast and treacherous sandy tracks. Really demanding challenge especially after a long night stage. Tiredness that tested the necessary concentration required by reading the road book.
Fastest in the bike class was Arunas Gelazninkas (LTU, Husqvarna), and in the quad group it was Remigiusz Kusy (POL, Can-Am) who took the win. As for the cars, Urvo Mannama from Estonia and his amazing Century Proto “beat’em all”, as well as Remi Berthelier (FRA, Polaris) did the best in the SSVs. William Groningen (NLD, Iveco) was the fastest pilot of a cross country truck.
The extreme category received a special treatment as being in the area 2 days, most of the extreme zones were already driven, but we had prepared special surprises to make their journey from the start to the finish a day to remember. Best time for Hardo Mere (EST, HM7 Proto) within the cars and Felix Muellenheim (DEU, Unimog) in the truck EX class.
Back to the camp, crews packed all the stuff for getting to camp 2, heading 100 km to the east to the well-known “Lake camp” in Gwda Wielka where the last 2 days of the rally will take place.

LEG 4 will offer new challenges. It is over 750kms already on the odometer that have been completed and yet it is a completely new terrain that is coming up. On the menu are totally different tracks, not comparable with what the teams drove in the Drawsko Military area. This fast transition is something that the crews must get prepared for, if they want to keep with their good ranking.
Again separated in 2 starting groups, one will head to the Borne Sulinowo area to take a 123km timed section and then head to the Czarne Polygon tracks, famous for their “toaster type route”, while the other starting group will first drive the Czarne Polygon for 60km stage and then head to the North in the Miastko Forestry area to make 100km of additional distance.
Coming closer and closer to the end of the rally, each turn must be taken faster than usual, each ditch must be driven with more caution and each swamp crossing for the extreme category must be carefully planned. Racing “the Breslau game” is in its most difficult level at this time.
