Sébastien Buemi has won the Formula E race in Berlin and is now one point behind of championship leader Lucas di Grassi who finished in third position. Jean-Eric Vergne started from pole position, but was directly overtaken by Buemi.

Both swapped positions a couple of laps later and afterwards Buemi regained the lead by performing a brave move in which there was no extra room between the wall and his rival.
The Frenchman then need to go in defense mode as he used more energy than his rivals. Home favourite Daniel Abt was able to overtake Vergne for second.
In the meantime, Buemi had built an advantage of four seconds over Abt, Vergne and Sam Bird who soon had to visit the pit lane to let his front wing being replaced. The British driver didn’t agree, but it was ordered from race control.
Vergne then damaged his front wing in the chicane, but luckily for him it was almost time for the pit stop and car swap. But the Frenchman then destroyed the entire front wing in the chicane when he was under pressure of Prost. He lost a lot of time getting back to his team.
After all the pit stops were done, then a quick full course yellow was announced due to the debris at the chicane. Once that was cleared, Buemi had an advantage of ten seconds over Abt. The ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport driver was under pressure from Prost and Di Grassi. First di Grassi moved up one position by beating Prost.
Duval made a mistake and crashed out which caused the safety car to arrive on track. At the same time di Grassi got under investigation for speeding under full course yellow.
With two laps to go Buemi raced to victory while Abt crossed the line in second despite being ordered to swap places with di Grassi. Prost ended up win fourth, with Vergne behind him. Robin Frijns moved up to sixth and held a pressing Nick Heidfeld behind.
