Sebastien Loeb has won stage 11 by 00:01.31 from his Peugeot teammate, Stephane Peterhansel. Peterhansel however still leads the event in the overall standings and there may not be enough stage kilometres left for Loeb to try and reel in Peterhansel who is set for his 13th overall win on the Dakar.
South Africa’s, Giniel de Villiers, in the Toyota Gazoo Racing Toyota Hi-Lux was fourth behind Orlando Terranova in a Mini.
