Annett Fischer is very well known in the Cross-Country Rally scene. Since 2012 she is supporting the X-raid MINITeam as sports physiotherapist during FIA world cup races as well as during the legendary rally Dakar.
But Annett is not only a physiotherapist. Within the past decade she gained a lot of experience on motorcycle as well as a pilot and co-pilot in side-by-sides. 2018 Annett topped her ongoing success off by finishing on the podium at the Merzouga-Rally.

“Definitely this is the biggest adventure of my life! It is like being part of the olympic team for other athletes”, Annett says about her upcoming challenge.
With Andrea Peterhansel, Annett has a very Dakar experienced co-pilot by her side. Andrea Mayer, as how she was known before she got married to the 13-times Dakar winner Stéphane Peterhansel, drove over 100 national and international races on motorcycle and quad, side-by-side, car and truck. She was factory driver of BMW, KTM and Mitsubishi, won four times the ladies category of the motorcycles and made it to a spectacular 5th place at the overall rating of the Dakar 2004.
“I am super excited for my upcoming challenge as a co-pilot and I cannot wait to pass on my experiences as a driver to Annett”, Andrea states.
For her, the Dakar is only the beginning as her main aim for the future is to drive rallies together with her husband Stéphane Peterhansel.
