This weekend sees the V8 Supercar series travel to the Zwartkops Raceway in Pretoria. Joining them will be the First Lady, Clare Vale, in her Liqui-Moly Mustang. The Phakisa round saw Clare have an extremely unlucky weekend, with fuel issues in race 1 and a puncture in race 2 ruining what could have been a great result in Welkom.
She showed good speed throughout the weekend, culminating in a front row start for race 2. She’ll be looking to take these improvements to Zwartkops and will push for a good result.
Clare Vale on the upcoming race: ”We had some bad luck in Welkom but I really enjoyed the weekend. Thanks to Franco di Matteo, the Liqui-Moly Mustang now has a fantastic set up and should be very competitive at Zwartkops.
