Ecclestone has announced that he and wife Fabiana Flosi, 44, are expecting a baby this winter.
It will be Ecclestone and Flosi’s first child together.
The former Formula One owner has three daughters from previous marriages.
“I don’t see there’s any difference between being 89 and 29,” Ecclestone told PA.
“You’ve got the same problems I suppose. It’s alright.”
Ecclestone ran Formula One for 39 years before he was ousted in 2017.
