In the MotoGP class, Honda riders hold the top four spots with 80 crashes between them. Britain’s Cal Crutchlow and Australia’s Jack Miller having been pinged off their satellite Hondas 24 times each so far. Miller wins, however, as he has missed races this year.
Tito Rabat and newly-crowned world champion Marc Marquez are next along with 16 each while Alvaro Bautista and Eugene Laverty managed 15 each.
The least-crashing regular riders are Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales with only four spills to their name while Andrea Dovizioso and Hector Barbera only had five each.
Moto3 had the biggest number of crashes with 388 (down on 2015) while Moto2 also reduced by six to 348. MotoGP has gone up by 60 so far at 275 – the blame will be laid squarely at Michelin and the
