Andreas Mikkelsen snatched away victory in Rally Poland after long-time leader Ott Tanak lost 40 seconds with a puncture in the penultimate stage.Tanak, who had led the rally since SS2, dropped to 16.5s behind Mikkelsen after his right-front tyre came off the rim in the 21.25km Baranowo test.The Volkswagen driver then cruised through the Power Stage, securing the second WRC victory of his career.
Despite losing a further 17 seconds, Tanak salvaged second, his best result in the series, staying ahead of Hayden Paddon by just 2.3s.
The Kiwi driver himself barely kept the final podium position from the charging Thierry Neuville.
Neuville had to settle for fourth by just eight tenths, beating Jari-Matti Latvala and Sebastien Ogier, the duo locking out the top two spots in the Power Stage.
Breen took his second top 10 finish in as many outings this season, adding six points to his tally with seventh place.
Despite spending the entire rally in front of his teammate, Eric Camilli ended up behind Mads Ostberg after going off in SS20 and completing the Power Stage with only front-wheel drive.
WRC2 leader Teemu Suninen took the final point-scoring position after Dani Sordo retired with an engine failure.
