After two of today’s four stages have been run, a distance of some 27km, Leeroy Poulter in the Team Castrol Toyota Auris is in the lead.His time of 19:24.8 is 4.2s better than that of second placed Hans Weijs in the Sasolracing Volkswagen Polo.
Poulter won the first stage and Mark Cronje in the Team Ford Ford Fiesta S2000, won stage 2. Cronje is third 6.5s behind Poulter, followed in 4th overall by Hergen Fekken in the other Toyota Yaris who is 12.2s off the lead..
Giniel de Villiers in an Imperial Toyota Yaris is 5th +21.3, followed in 6th position by Henk Lategan in a Sasolracing Volkswagen Polo +25.9. Gugu Zulu in another Sasolracing Volkswagen Polo is 7th overall +42.6.
Next up is Thilo Himmel also in a Sasolracing Volkswagen Polo +58.9s.
The 2014 S1000 champion, Guy Botterill in a Toyota Etios R2 is 9th overall +1:40.1.
