A broken shock on the penultimate stage last night cost Henk Lategan and Barry Lategan in their Skoda Fabia S2000 a penalty of ten minutes to restart under Rally2 rules. Ten minutes is the minimum penalty.

He had to start behind all the WRC3 cars this morning, but after two stage at the end of stage 9, he had passed them all and moved into 18th overall in WRC3. He was still 25: 23.5 behind the rally leader
The roads are reported to be rough and the rally has taken its toll on the competitors. Elvan Evans in a M-Sport Ford Fiesta WRC was an early casualy again today after the problems he had yesterday. He staterd imn Rally2, but on the first stage of the morning he hit a rock and lost a wheel.
The competitors will do another six stages today.
Overall the battle in the front is fierce. Latvala leads, but there is a major fight on for second place between Kris Meeke, Citroen DS3, and Andreas Mikkelsen, Volkswagen Polo R.
