According to a report by Autosport Robert Kubica is on Citroen’s shortlist to join Kris Meeke in its 2015 World Rally Championship line-up, says team boss Yves Matton.Kubica has just completed his first full year in the WRC’s top class, during which he showed tremendous promise in an M-Sport-run Ford Fiesta RS WRC, but also crashed regularly.
He drove for Citroen in 2013, winning the WRC2 title before making his World Rally Car debut in the season finale.

Matton confirmed to AUTOSPORT that Kubica was among Citroen’s 2015 contenders.
“We are talking to him about next year,” he said. “We have a shortlist of drivers and he is there.”
Current Citroen driver Mads Ostberg is also in the frame to stay on, with Hyundai driver Hayden Paddon another candidate.
Ostberg also has an option to return to M-Sport, where he would drive in his own private team again, while Paddon is still in discussions with his current employer too.
“We’ll be here [in the WRC],” said Paddon, “but we’re just not sure how many rounds we’ll be doing – we’re hoping to start with all of the gravel rallies.
“We should know really soon.”
M-Sport is also expected to confirm Ott Tanak as Mikko Hirvonen‘s replacement this week.
