Robert Kubica will be back for another year of World Rally Championship action next season.The Pole’s participation in next month’s Monte Carlo Rally – round one of the 2015 season – has been confirmed by the organisers of the French Alps event, bringing to an end months of speculation over a potential racing return.
Despite speculation regarding a potential return to Citroen for next season, Kubica will remain in the Ford Fiesta RS WRC he drove this year. The former Formula 1 star is on a hat-trick at the moment, having won the last two rallies he started – the Monza Rally and Bettega Memorial Rallysprint.
And he could land three victories on the bounce as his first event of the new year could be the Janner Rally next month, an event he won last season.
Confirmation of Kubica’s 2015 programme is expected next week.
