Mick Schumacher is set to make his Formula 1 testing debut with Ferrari, as well as Alfa Romeo, following the conclusion of the Bahrain Grand Prix next week, with previous reports suggesting it was just with Alfa Romeo on the Wednesday after the race.
Auto Bild reported this week that the son of Michael Schumacher would get the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a F1 car for the first time in testing at the Bahrain International Circuit just with Alfa Romeo, but Autosport now writes that he will test for Ferrari too.

Schumacher has not driven a modern F1 car yet, but will now be given the opportunity after he completes his Formula 2 duties at the same track.
I am thrilled that I will be part of the @insideFDA and also of the @ScuderiaFerrari Family. I will make everything to achieve my dream, racing in @F1. Ferrari has a big place in my heart and those of our family, so I am delighted on a personal level about this as well.
Following his Formula 3 championship success, the German was signed up to Ferrari’s Driver Academy for 2019, and with the Scuderia enjoying a closer partnership with Alfa Romeo than ever before, he will test for both teams.
After making his F2 debut, he will join up with Ferrari on Monday for preparations, test for the team on Tuesday, with the Alfa Romeo test set to take place on the Wednesday.
