Lewis Hamilton dominates from start to finish to win in Spain – the 88th of his career
Max Verstappen, last week’s winner, finishes second with Valtteri Bottas in third
Lewis Hamilton said he completed his crushing Spanish Grand Prix victory in an almost unconscious state. The Mercedes driver finished a mammoth 24 seconds clear of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, and 44 seconds ahead of team-mate Valtteri Bottas at Circuit Catalunya, to edge ever closer to equalling Michael Schumacher’s record of seven world championships.
