THERE ARE 172 km of rally stages waiting for the Volkswagen Sasolracing team at this third event, the last for the team before they tackle the Volkswagen Rally in July. Henk Lategan and Barry White return to action in the South African championship, seeking to improve on their current fifth place overall. Lategan and White compete both nationally and internationally in selected rally events in Europe.

The RallyStar Super Special stage will take place at this event which sees two cars tackle the stage at the same time, a regular feature of the PMC event which pits the teams against one another in a head-to-head battle to thrill spectators.

Hans Weijs Jnr and Björn Degandt will return to South Africa for the PMC Rally to pilot their Volkswagen Sasolracing Polo S2000. The pair are just outside of the top three in the championship standings and will be aiming to improve their standings ahead of the mid-season event, the Volkswagen Rally.
