“It is not so easy to come to rallies with no testing and not knowing what is going on. We have to sit down and see what is possible.”
Kubica’s co-ordinator Marcin Czachorski said there were several options on the table.
“We have some options we need to look at for next year with Robert – including some very interesting proposals to go back to racing again,” Czachorski said. “But Robert is right that we need to make a quick decision on where we go – I think by the end of August.”
The 2008 Canadian Grand Prix F1 winner admitted he is still mentally adjusting to rallying after spending his entire career in circuit racing.
“I am not in a position from my side to compete equally,” said Kubica. “I am still a racing driver. I am still thinking like a racing driver [in my approach to rallies].”
