The Greatest Show on Dirt has new events and a NASCAR companion race

No other motorsport discipline has experienced recent growth quite like the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, and that trend is set to continue with the release of the 2019 schedule. The Greatest Show on Dirt, as it’s commonly known, will invade 25 states and compete 92 times at 53 facilities next year.

“We are looking forward to another great season of World of Outlaws racing in 2019,” said longtime series director Carlton Reimers. “On the strength of our excellent relationships with tracks and promoters, we are eager to get the season started with our determined teams for our dedicated fans.”

The season will begin during Florida Speedweeks with the 48th annual DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park on Feb. 5-16.

The event at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Feb. 27-28 is in conjunction with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Truck Series. WoO will share The Dirt Track with the K&N Pro Series East that same weekend.

A new event has been added for the Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, Tennessee. The $25,000-to-win Music City Outlaw Nationals will see the historic NASCAR track’s infield quarter-mile covered in dirt for the May 31 and June 1 showdown.

Kings Royal weekend at the famous Eldora Speedway will see an increased purse for the 2019 season.

Following the Kings Royal, the Outlaws will take part in four straight events that pay at least $20,000-to-win at Lernerville Speedway (Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup), Williams Grove Speedway (Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals) and Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Ironman 55) before ending the lucrative stretch in the prestigious Knoxville Nationals.

The season will wind down in October and November on the East Coast at Port Royal Speedway before concluding the season alongside the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series and Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds at the World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Nov. 7-9.
